History

TEB (Tehnološko Ekonomski Biro, Technological-Economic Office) was established in 1950 with the primary activity of creating investment programs for industry. In the 1960s, at the time of small company mergers, TEB was made a part of Narodne Novine (Official Gazette).

In 1973, TEB is divided into TEB Projektni Biro (TEB Project Office) and TEB Biro za Privredno Savjetovanje (TEB Office for Economic Counseling). During that period, TEB develops into a project company covering a wide spectrum of information system creation activities, creation of project documentation, consulting and marketing activities.

In 1980, TEB merges with Rudarsko-naftno geoloski institut (Institute of Mining, Oil, and Geology). Over the years, it has been adapting to the needs of the market.

In 1990, TEB focuses on project-planning and engineering activities in the field of telecommunications and information science and changes name into TEB Inzenjering.

In 1992, TEB Inzenjering is transformed into a joint stock company.

In 2002, with the goal of improving the efficiency of the existing organization, the TEB joint stock company changes its internal organization to reflect the specific characteristics of its activities and establishes the following limited liability companies:

  • TEB Automatika d.o.o.
  • TEB Ekon d.o.o.
  • TEB Elektronika d.o.o.
  • TEB Informatika d.o.o.

The sum of registered activities of all individual limited liability companies is equal to the registered activity of the joint stock company, so the overall business with partners has not essentially changed. The new limited liability companies are legal successors of the parent company, each in its own field of activity. On the market, the limited liability companies appear independently or together with others, depending on the situation and interest.
